Raspberry, Marionberry ice and ice cream

You can find our ice cream at our Water Street shop, as well as Chimacum Corner Farm stand in Chimacum, and (through Labor Day ) at the Purple Haze Lavender Farm in Sequim.

Our ice cream is made with farm-fresh milk and cream (rBST free) from a family farm in Lynden, WA.  Our basic un-flavored all-natural dairy mixture (13% butterfat) is custom made to our specifications by Snoqualmie Gourmet Ice Cream Dairy in Maltby, WA.  Milk and cream  is pasteurized using the old-fashioned slow batch pasteurization method which retains the delicious flavor found naturally in milk.

To create our special ice cream flavors, we use the highest quality ingredients.  For over 35 years, we have featured locally grown berries, and regionally grown nuts.  We use natural flavors, and for a few of our ice creams, natural colors.  Chlorophyll makes our Mint Chip green!  Most of our ice creams are colored only by the fruits, chocolates or other flavor ingredients in the name.

We make ice cream several days a week right here in our kitchen, so its always fresh!

Our Flavor of the Month:

In addition to our Regular Flavors, we offer Special Ice Creams Non Dairy Ices and Sherbets all through the year, based on availability of local, seasonal ingredients grown here such as Raspberry, Black Currant and fresh Strawberry at the peak of ripeness.

We also offer Holiday Specials, such as Peppermint made with crushed candy canes, Eggnog made with rum and grated nutmeg, Pumpkin and Brandied Apricot.

Hi! I just stumbled across this website. I was on a trip to Whidbey Island a few years ago to see some friends, and they brought me here. They told me I had to try some of your ice cream. It was amazing! I had the gelato, and it was almost as if I were eating it in Italy – as I have before, and I know how hard it is to replicate the texture and the overall flavor. I hope to be able to come back there one day and try some more.

I tried you Lemon Lavender a few months ago and I can’t stop thinking about it! Now that I know it’s a seasonal flavour I will definitely have to visit Port Townsend next year.

I’m so happy you love the Cardamom. It is now one of our Classic Flavors, meaning we always have it in the dipping cabinet. We keep a good supply of quarts in the Take Home freezer as well! Thanks for remembering, and coming back to see us!

Hi Julie, I’m so glad you like our Lavender Lemon Ice Cream. We definitely will be serving it this summer during Lavender Season (all of July for sure). You can also find it at the Purple Haze Lavender Farm “Beverage Barn” in the Sequim area. We have four flavors of Lavender ice cream which we make for them. Lavender White Chocolate, Lavender Peppermint, and Lemon Lavender Sherbet.

Pumpkin is a seasonal flavor – you’ll find it here from October through November. Unfortunately, we don’t make it other times of the year because we keep our unusual seasonal flavors in their own season. I’m glad you liked it, and I hope you can come visit us next fall!

Lemon Custard is taking a back seat to our special holiday flavors. We already have Peppermint Candy, and soon we’ll be serving Eggnog, Date Nut Victoria and Rum Raisin. Expect Lemon Custard back in February!
